

Hawaii Holds on to Beat Cal Poly, 65-61, in the Big West Home Opener on January 16, 2020
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors staved off a comeback attempt by Cal Poly to notch its first home conference victory, 65-61, at the Stan Sheriff Center on January 16, 2020. Hawaii led by as much as 16 points in the first half, but the Mustangs battled back in the second half to make it a game. Cal Poly's bench outscored Hawaii's bench, 42-16, with Mustang Colby Rogers leading all scorers with 18 points. Hawaii's Eddie Stansberry led the Warriors with 17 points but shot just 5-14 from the field. Zigmars Raimo shot an even worse 2-14.
