#1 Hawaii Opens 2020 Volleyball Season With Sweep Over Charleston on January 3, 2020
The #1 ranked Hawaii men's volleyball team opened their 2020 season with a sweep of Charleston, 25-19, 25-16, 25-16. Hawaii returns four starters from last seasons national runner-up, three of whom were All-Americans. Setter Jakob Thelle took the reins of the offense after the graduation of All-American setter Joe Worsley and dished out 22 assists. Hawaii hitter Colton Cowell hit .444 and led the team with 10 kills. Libero Gage Worsley led with 6 digs.
